Ingredients:
60 g Coix Seeds; Job’s tears (Yi Yi Ren)
60 g Flat Beans (Bian Dou)
50 g Non-Glutinous Rice
3 g Cardamom Seed Shells (Sha Ren)
3 g Orange Peels (Chen Pi)
Directions:
1. Make gruel with coix seed, flat beans and the non-glutinous rice in water.
2. Infuse the shells of cardamom seed and orange peel and strain the liquid, which is then added to the cooked gruel and brought to the boil.
3. To be taken twice a day.

The coix seeds and flat beans reinforce the Spleen and remove damp. The shells of cardamom and orange peel regulate and absorb dampness.

If you want to clear heat omit the flat bean and orange peel and add the liquid from a reed rhizome (Lou Gen) and bamboo leaf (Zhu Ru) decoction.
